These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of Ryze, including the Ryze website, student platform, and its study helper, wellbeing support, and university planning features (together, the “Service”). Features may change, be unavailable, or be offered as previews. We will describe material changes in the Service. Ryze is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for professional, medical, counselling, or other qualified support.
3. Eligibility and age requirements
The initial Service is intended for people aged 13 or older. Do not create an account if you are under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with any parent or guardian involvement or consent required by applicable law and these Terms.
We may use reasonable age checks and may restrict or close accounts where age or required consent cannot be confirmed. Before launch, Ryze must determine its age-assurance and guardian-consent process for the countries it serves, including requirements that may apply in the UAE to children’s personal data and digital platforms.

4. User accounts and responsibilities
You must provide information that is accurate and keep it reasonably up to date. Keep your sign-in details secure, do not share access to your account, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it. You are responsible for activity through your account except where applicable law says otherwise.
Use the Service in a way that respects other people’s rights and follows these Terms and applicable law. We may ask you to verify account information or take steps to protect your account and the Service.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to break the law, harm or threaten anyone, harass or discriminate against another person, impersonate someone, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute malware, interfere with the Service, probe or bypass its security, or attempt to access another person’s account or data.
You must not use the Service to submit content that is unlawful, exploitative, abusive, or designed to put another person at risk. We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect people, comply with law, or maintain the Service.
6. Content ownership
You retain rights you hold in content you submit, including journal entries and other materials (“User Content”). You give Ryze a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, display, and process User Content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and provide the Service to you, and as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to copies retained for a lawful or technical reason described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not submit another person’s private information unless you have the right to do so. Ryze’s name, branding, software, and original materials belong to Ryze or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of either party’s intellectual property.

7. Subscription and Pro tier terms
The current Ryze prototype does not offer a paid subscription. If a paid or “Pro” tier is introduced, we will show its price, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms, included features, and any applicable taxes before you purchase. Additional terms will apply only if presented to you and accepted.
Any renewal, refund, cancellation, and trial rules will be stated clearly at the point of purchase and will not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
8. Disclaimers
Ryze Wellbeing provides general tools and educational material for everyday study-related stress and student wellbeing. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, crisis response, or a professional assessment. Do not rely on the Service as a substitute for help from a qualified professional or a trusted person.
The Service is provided as available. We work to keep it useful and secure, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so is prohibited by law, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or affects consumer rights that cannot be waived. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ryze will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service.

10. Suspension and termination

If you continue using the Service after updated Terms take effect, the updated Terms apply to future use. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
